Oscar Wilde’s Tales

Although I find certain remarks of Oscar Wilde about women very annoying… I highly appreciate his fairy tale books “House of Pomegranates” and “The Happy Prince and Other Stories”.

I remember reading them as a child and being amazed by the mature, deep and wise perspective that wasn’t very common in Hans Christian Andersen tales and Disney movies.

Till this day I ponder about the nightingale’s sacrifice, the broken-hearted dwarf, and many more stories.

If you have read any Oscar Wilde fairy tale, I would love to know your opinion about it =)
